Justin’s sprint car was an extreme machine for the 2010 Midwest Season opener this past weekend at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska. Last season this is where Justin had his first major wreck, but he didn’t let that intimidate him. The track is high banked and super, super fast.
“We clearly have the skills and equipment to get the job done this season!” We didn't make the A-main, but the car was extremely fast and we learned a lot about how it’s supposed to handle! Friday night Justin started in the last row inside 9th position. He was struggling with the turn four corner exit and finished last in his heat. That put him in the last row 18th position of the B-main. He had a good finish of 13th.
Saturday night he was much faster. He started second row inside 4th position. On the start he spun the tires and lost some ground and finished 7th. That started him at the back of the B-main where he finished 10th. Overall a great start to the season.
We’re off this weekend and head to Missouri at the end of the month. Justin would like to thank his crew for a great start to the season and has high expectations for the year. Glory to God as He continues to open doors in the racing community and His blessings over 2010 as it is going to be a monumental season!
